A great way to jump-start the skin’s natural processes to help regenerate it, revealing brighter, fresher skin cells. They can also help to tackle problems with pigmentation and spot prone skin.

G&T Peels use a clinically proven, innovative combination of glycolic acid and taurine.

Glycolic acid is one of the most effective, clinically proven peels available, increasing exfoliation to leave skin softer, with a more youthful appearance. Its key actions are:

  • Exfoliation – breaking down the bonds between older skin cells, allowing them to fall away.

  • Hydration – reinvigorating the skin’s natural moisturising processes to hydrate more effectively.

  • Stimulation – encouraging the creation of newer, fresher skin cells.

  • Firming – increasing the density of collagen and elastin within the skin, helping to improve it’s elasticity.

The added ingredient Taurine helps to soothe the skin and significantly reduce any redness or irritation –creating a highly effective, but gentle, peel.

G&T Peels are also extremely effective at addressing specific skin concerns such as pigmentation and spot prone skin by exfoliating melanin-containing cells, and clearing and closing pores to reduce the appearance of spots.

G&T Brighten Peel FAQs

+ Why is G&T better than other peels?

This peel uses 2 main ingredients – Glycolic Acid (30% or 50%) and Taurine (1%). The Glycolic Acid instantly smooths the skin’s surface creating radiance. As this acid penetrates into the skin, it stimulates the cell renewal to bring all the new healthy cells to the surface whilst exfoliating and lightening pigmentation. The Taurine is added as it has a brilliant bonus of being an Anti-Oxidant! Throughout your journey with us we can build up the intensity of the peel meaning you can see a noticeable improvement with each treatment. It’s the perfect combination for a highly effective, but kind peel.

+ Will treatment hurt?

Its not uncommon to feel some itchiness and discomfort as the glycolic acid gets to work on your skin, but it will be matter of minutes before the peel is neutralised, immediately soothing your skin.

+ When will I see results?

No clients’ skin is the same, and as such, results and timescales will vary. As a guide though, from 1 week after your first- in-clinic treatment your skin should start to feel softer and smoother. After 4 weeks, you should start to see improvements in the brightness of your skin, with ongoing improvements throughout your treatment course.

+ Can I receive treatment if I'm pregnant?

Unfortunately, no. The safety of the unborn child is always paramount and while there is no evidence that the G&T Brighten Peel treatment course could cause harm, we always recommend that this treatment not be performed.

+ Do the products contain parabens?

No none of the products used in the home-use programme contain parabens.

+ Are peels suitable for all skin types?

Yes they are and they have an excellent safety profile.

+ Is there any downtime after treatment?

There is very little downtime afterwards, with some light exfoliation a couple of days after your treatment which will resolve within a couple of days.
